Boost Lite allowance increased by about 33% and September MP benefit changes

Thank you for using Oz Chat.
To help you enjoy more conversations with confidence, we are introducing a new chat allowance in August 2026, followed by a transition of some MP benefits in September.
Summary
- In August, the new chat allowance is added on top of your current benefits.
- From September 1, routine daily free MP moves to the new chat allowance.
- Used allowance returns 30 days after each use instead of resetting at the start of the month.
- Free Lite includes a time-recovering allowance, with instant paid-MP top-ups available after use.
August preview
From 4:00 AM JST on August 1 through August 31, Boost plans will receive a new MP-free chat allowance in addition to existing daily free MP and plan benefits. The allowance applies to models included with each plan.
From 4:00 AM JST on September 1
Routine daily free MP grants at login, including the Boost daily amount, will end. The time-recovering chat allowance will become the main benefit. After using the allowance, you can continue with MP or the free Lite model.
What does “usage returns after 30 days” mean?
This is not a full reset at the start of each month. For example, if you use 100,000 units at 8:00 PM on August 10, those units return around 8:00 PM on September 9. If you chat every day, the amount used 30 days earlier returns each day. A fixed 1/30 is not granted daily.
Estimated chats by model
Based on usage and feedback after launch, we increased the Boost Lite standard allowance for Sweet and Fresh from 9 million to 12 million units, an increase of about 33%. The Premium model allowance remains available separately.
Our goal is to provide an experience closer to flat-rate AI services such as ChatGPT, where subscribers can chat comfortably without checking MP before every message. This change is not intended to disadvantage users.
AI conversations nevertheless have a meaningful operating cost for every turn, based on the tokens used to process your message, the history and memories actually referenced, and the AI response. Allowance usage therefore reflects the amount actually processed rather than a fixed message count; longer conversations and responses use more per turn.
These 30-day estimates use actual conversation lengths from June and July 2026.
| Plan | Model | Estimated usage |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Lite | About 900 / 30 days (app: 20/day without ads, +10 per ad, up to 90/day; ad-added chats also count toward the 30-day allowance) |
| Boost Lite | Lite | Unlimited under normal use |
| Boost Lite | Sweet | About 3,800 / 30 days |
| Boost Lite | Fresh | About 2,670 / 30 days |
| Boost Lite | Black / Deep / Extra Sweet | Premium model allowance: about 10 / 11 / 6 |
| Boost Plus | Lite | Unlimited under normal use |
| Boost Plus | Sweet / Fresh / Black | About 8,500 / 6,000 / 1,080 |
| Boost Plus | Deep / Extra Sweet | 10 each/day + about 1,160 / 690 from the shared allowance |
| Boost Max | Lite | Unlimited under normal use |
| Boost Max | Sweet / Fresh / Black | About 28,500 / 20,000 / 3,500 |
| Boost Max | Deep / Extra Sweet | 50 each/day + about 3,800 / 2,200 from the shared allowance |
These are estimates based on average conversation usage from June and July 2026, assuming exclusive use of each model; they are not guaranteed message counts. Shorter conversations may allow more turns, while longer referenced history, memories, and responses may allow fewer. Daily free uses for Deep and Extra Sweet are applied before the shared allowance.
You can use “Refill to full” in Settings to add the required amount with paid MP.
Add the allowance you need with paid MP
Choose 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of your plan's 30-day allowance. The paid-MP amounts are: Free 1/2/3/4, Boost Lite 122/243/365/486, Boost Plus 274/547/821/1,094, and Boost Max 908/1,816/2,724/3,632. You can also enter a custom paid-MP amount and see its approximate percentage. Added allowance is valid for 30 days. Free MP cannot be used.
What stays the same
Your existing MP will not be removed. Purchased MP and MP earned from ads, missions, and campaigns will continue, as will other Boost benefits. The Lite model remains available without MP within its time-recovering free allowance.
We will continue improving Oz Chat so you can enjoy high-quality conversations comfortably for a long time. Thank you for your continued support.
