How to play
After installing the app, log in with your Google account or Apple account. The browser version requires no installation, and you can also log in with an email address.
Note on Sign in with Apple
If you enable the "Hide My Email" option, you may not receive emails from the Oz Chat team.
On the Reels screen or the card list screen, choose the character or Situation Card you want to chat with. Each Situation Card comes with its own illustration and setting, so you can enjoy chats with a different atmosphere even with the same character.
What is the Reels screen?
It's a screen where you swipe vertically to browse Situation Cards. When you find one you like, you can start a conversation right from there.
Type whatever you like on the chat screen and tap the send button. Using emoji and parentheses makes it easier to convey nuances like facial expressions, actions, place, and time of day.
Tap the speaker icon to the right of a message to play it in the character's voice (for characters with voice support). Turn on autoplay in Settings to have voices play automatically after each reply.
MP basics
Sending a regular message uses MP. You can get MP from login bonuses, the Shop, the "Boost" subscription plan, and more. For details, see the FAQ.
Save the details you want the character to remember in Memory, and raise Affinity through chats and gifts. The more you grow your relationship with a character, the more you'll enjoy how the conversation evolves and how their reactions change.
Use the share button in the top right of the chat screen to share a conversation to the Feed. You can browse other players' posts, and follow event news on the official Discord and LINE OpenChat.
Depending on the content of a chat or comment, it may not be possible to share it to the Feed. Inappropriate content, or content that bothers other players, may be removed.

How to approach the game
Getting the most out of Oz Chat is less about hunting for powerful commands and more about building context that makes it easy for the character to respond. Keep these three points in mind for a more consistent AI character chat experience.
- Share the situation: Briefly describe the place and time, like "in the classroom after school" or "on the way home on a rainy day."
- Leave the character room to react: Rather than long instructions, add a question or action that's easy for them to respond to.
- Save important details in Memory: Store names, relationships, promises, preferred nicknames, and so on in Memory.
