How to Use Passphrases
How to enter Passphrases in Oz Chat, what rewards you can receive, when free MP expires, and things to note when redeeming.
"Passphrases" (aikotoba) are reward codes handed out through collab videos, events, campaigns, and more. Entering one in the app may get you gifts such as MP or items.
How to enter a Passphrase
- Tap "Menu" in the bottom navigation.
- Tap "Passphrase."
- Enter the Passphrase in the field in the center.
- Check what you entered and redeem it.
Passphrases may not be recognized if full-width/half-width characters, letters and numbers, or symbols don't match. Please enter it exactly as written by the distributor.
What you can receive
What you receive from a Passphrase depends on the campaign. Examples include free MP, commemorative items, and campaign rewards.

Notes
- Gifts are generally granted immediately.
- Some Passphrases can only be redeemed once per person.
- Passphrases may have a redemption deadline.
- Please don't share Passphrases with others or post them on social media.
- Free MP granted through Passphrases expires 180 days after you receive it.

If you can't redeem a Passphrase

| It says the code is invalid | Check the deadline, typos, and full-width/half-width characters |
| It says it's already been redeemed | Check whether you've already redeemed it on the same account |
| You can't find the reward | Wait a little for it to appear, then reload the app |
| It still isn't resolved | Contact us with your user ID and the name of the Passphrase |
