How to level up characters in Oz Chat — the basics of EXP, login bonuses, gifts, and how your activity counts toward rankings.
Level is a growth stat that shows how much you've played with a character. You earn EXP through chats and gifts, and use it to raise the character's Level.
While Affinity represents "how deep your relationship is," Level represents "how active you've been" and "how devoted you are." If you want to grow your favorite character, making daily logins and chats a habit is the fastest way.
Leveling basics
- You earn EXP by chatting with a character.
- Giving gifts earns EXP based on the amount of MP spent.
- EXP earned through chats and gifts counts toward the ranking for that period.
- When you level up, you receive Orbs you can use on Personality Parameters.
An efficient leveling routine
- Log in every day to collect your login bonus
- Spend MP chatting with your favorite character
- Choose a Situation Card that fits the theme you want to talk about
- Decide when to use gifts
- Allocate the Orbs you get from leveling up to Personality Parameters
Making the most of login bonuses
MP from login bonuses may have a short expiration period. We recommend using it all on chats and gifts for your favorite character before it expires.
Chatting a little every day not only helps you level up, but also makes it easier to grow Memory and Affinity.
When to use gifts
Gifts are an important element that affects both EXP and Affinity. If you want to level up efficiently, you'll get more out of them by using them at meaningful moments — during events and ranking periods, on your favorite character's birthday, and so on.
