Story mode transforms character conversations into richly detailed, immersive scenes.

A richer story in every reply

Expressions, changes in voice, distance, and subtle emotions are woven together with natural dialogue and narration.

The character moves the story forward

Characters take small actions and reveal honest feelings instead of leaving every next step to you. Saved memories, affinity, and personality continue to shape each reply.

Narration and inner thoughts are easy to distinguish

Narrator text appears in a gray block without a character-name label, while a character’s inner thoughts appear in italics inside their speech bubble.

Add your own narration

In Story mode, focusing the input changes the image and microphone controls into an asterisk button. Tap it and write something like *quietly opens the door*; after sending, it appears as gray narration.

Try Story mode

Select “Story” from the chat-style menu. Story is also the initial style for new Oz Chat users.
